About Founder

I am passionate about food. I have always enjoyed cooking with a homemade feel. I had an opportunity to run DeHonorables restaurant three years ago, and I have not looked back.

We are situated in Gillingham, Kent, and our mission is to open the Nigerian cuisine to North Kent.

The food we serve is meant to be home from home in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We have room for private hire downstairs- it is nice and cosy. We also have our own DJ entertainment on a monthly basis, playing various genres from 80s to afrobeats and afropop.

Our food is mainly organic, and all cooked with fresh ingredients that are nourishing. Many of Nigerian recipes are plant based, so are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Our Jollof Rice and Egusi Soup is our signature food, and have plenty more delicious dishes on our menu.

We have also provided food for local colleges and universities, and the students couldn’t get enough of the food!
